Harry A. Hicks
Harry Alexander Hicks, 72 wasco, Died at his home Sunday, March 15 1987. Mr. Hicks lived in Elgin from 1939 to 1960, and has since lived in Wasco. He was born March 11, 1915 at mansfield Wash. He was Married to his wife, Jessie in La grande Aug. 5, 1939. He was a farm foreman and member of the wasco church of christ.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie of Wasco, Four Daughters, Mrs.Robert (Elma Jean) Wilhelm of Elgin, Mrs. Douglas ( Nancy) Mckay of Kent, Mrs. Russ (Christine) McCollister of Camas Wash., Mrs. Gene (linda) Burnett of Wasco: 11 Grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren: Three Brothers, Jim Hicks of Joseph, Bennie Hicks of Lagrande, Charles Hicks Of Biggs, California and Three sisters, Mamie Kellogg of Monsanto, Wash. Neva Myers of Spokane, Wash. and Mollie Henningsen of Spokane.
Grave side services were held Wednesday, March 18, at the Elgin Cemetery. A memorial sevice was held in Wasco Sunday, March 22.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the american cancer society or the Wasco church of christ.
Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral home, The Dalles, is in charge of arrangments Handled by Payne Family Mortuary.
