Lee G. Blamble, 69, of RD 1 Springfield, died yesterday at Hampshire Memorial Hospital, Romney. He had been in failing health the past two years.
Born in Aurora, W.Va., he was a son of the late Lewis and Stella (Wotring) Blamble. A retired employee of Celanese Fibers Company, he was a member of Dennison Community Church, Fort Ashby.
Surviving are his widow, Audrey (Barnes) Blamble; two brothers, Willey Blamble, Cambridge, Ohio, and Elwood Blamble, Aurora; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Harned, Kingwood, and Mrs. Hilda Prelzel, Bruceton Mills, W.Va., and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home.

Per his nephew Eugene Blamble, Uncle Lee was married twice his first wife was Lucy and she passed away in the 1950's. Neither marriage produced any children.
