AS A KID I USED TO SPEND SUMMERS AT MY GRANDPARENTS. I HUNG AROUND WITH JOHNNY, MY UNCLE, AND OFTEN HIS BEST FRIEND TERRY. I HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES OF THOSE CHILDHOOD DAYS. TERRY WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN, HE WAS A NICE GUY WHO MADE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE WHEN HE HAD MORE TO LIVE FOR THAN AT ANY OTHER TIME IN HIS SHORT LIFE. REST IN PEACE TERRY. DENNIS E. DAVIS

To the boy next door that was always a true friend who gave his life to serve his and my country. Thank you. You will always be remembered and have a special place in all the many hearts that you have touched. Linda McMillan Wilcox.

Terry, you were a brother Marine and Classmate. You gave your all. As a brother Marine, I know you did it for a purpose. Thank you, you will always be a hero to me and all your brothers in arms. Stand Guard now my brother. I'll relieve you when I get there. Toney King Sgt. USMC,1968-72.

Because of you, a Friend and Neighbor: Terry, I was just a teenager working for your Dad (Stanley) when you joined the Marine Corps and later went to Vietnam. Looking back, it was because I knew you and your sacrifice, and how your Dad was so proud of you in life and death. I joined and served 26 years, 6 months, and 26 days as a U.S. Marine. It was the smartest thing I ever did. Thanks friend, thanks brother, rest in peace, the Marine Corps is still on duty. S/F Gary Matthews CWO5 USMC(Ret.), Stafford VA 22554.
