Margaret served many roles during her life: daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, foster mother, nurse, cousin, friend and a great Eagle member. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling in a motorhome, camping, going for oysters, fishing, dancing, and having great parties for family and friends, and in her last years enjoyed reading a book a day and residing with her son William and Karen. She had a great care-giving nurse, Christine. Communion was brought to her once a week at home to fulfill her very deep faithful needs with our Lord.
Her greatest joy in life was being a mom to all of her children, making sure their needs were met, and that she could do all she could do to help and pray for all of them. She has left quite a legacy along with many memories, especially the memories of all the family reunions and all of the plays, skits, raffles and fun that was had because of her and her brothers' and sisters' efforts. We, as her children, could not keep up with her in all of the things she accomplished in her life. She had more energy than all of us put together. She will be missed so much, especially her beautiful smile that was always there when we arrived. God bless you Mom. god has taken you home, but you will be forever in our hearts.
