• MADILL -- Services for Pauline Faye Cox, 78, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Watts Memorial Chapel with Lyndol Adams and Roy Vinson officiating. Interment will follow at Lebanon Cemetery.
Mrs. Cox was born Jan. 21, 1923, in Lebanon, to Charlie R. and Susie B. Isbell Orr. She died Dec. 2, 2001, in Kingston.
Raised in the Lebanon and McMillan areas, she married Israel Charles "I.C." Cox on May 18, 1940, in Lebanon, and lived in Petersburg, Texas, for several years before returning to the Lebanon area. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; four sons, Darwin, Lebanon, Merle, Madill, Ralph, Choctaw, and Tony, Lone Grove; a daughter, Christene Sweat, Yukon; a brother, Hubert Orr; and a sister, Evelyn Cox, both of Madill; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Billy Jack Hewitt, Jim Kusler, David Dunn, Tobb Muncrief, Sam Goodwin and Gary Ayres. Honorary bearers are Loyd Redden, Spot Coe, T.J. Allison, Henry Morgan and Alex Sandufur.
