Deloris F. Abbott, born into this world as Doloris Florence Pienta, of Olympia, WA, left her body early on Saturday, February 26, 2011. She was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1926 and lived there until she moved to Olympia in 2003. Deloris worked as an executive secretary for The United Way of Chicago until her retirement in 1996.
She was a beautiful woman, devoted, loving, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed having dinners with her family, listening to music, singing, reading classic books & poetry, and she loved the beautiful summers and gardens of the Pacific Northwest, shopping and going to casinos!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Abbott in 1990; her sister Catherine Sokolowski, and brother, Andrew Pienta. She is survived by her three children; a granddaughter; a sister; and many nieces and nephews.
