Mary Ann Buchert Kechter, 88, of Fort Collins passed away on October 21, 2016. Mary was born August 13, 1928 at Poudre Valley Hospital to Jenny and Henry Buchert. She graduated from Fort Collins High School and went on to work at CSU, where she retired after 30 years of service. Mary was a well-known artist around Fort Collins, selling hundreds of paintings in Fort Collins and across the nation. Mary loved gardening, walking, and her dog Mikey. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, and her husband, Richard. Mary was a very special person with an easy smile, a quick wit, and will be missed dearly. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 2:30PM at Grandview Cemetery. Her family would like to thank Brookdale and Seven Lakes Memory Care employees for their loving care during Mary's last years
