Mrs. Eleanor Adams, eighty-four years old, died about 11:30 o'clock Tuesday night at her home at 908 Robinson street. Organic heart disease was the cause of her death. For fifty-four years she had lived in the house at 908 Robinson street where she died.
She was born in this county March 17, 1830, and was a daughter of John and Polly (Anderson) Johnson. She was married four times, her last husband having been John W. Adams. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Sam Smith, city; Mrs. James Creamer, Mitchell; and Mrs. George Brown, city. Three children are dead. [obit courtesy of RabbitTrack mem#47428199]
