Mrs. Frank Allen, 65, died at her home in New London April 4 at 7 p.m. Death was caused by a heart attack following a long illness.

Alice Mary Humphrey, daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth Myers Humphrey, was born near Middletown on February 5, 1885. She was married at Burlington to Frank Allen on October 21, 1910, and they lived on farms in Pleasant Grove township before retiring and moving to New London in 1939.

Mrs. Allen was a member of the Oak Leaf Club, the WSCS and the King's Daughters.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters: Mrs. Frances Evelyn Cook, Hays, Nebraska, and Mrs. Mary Beryl Dodds, New London, and 3 grandchildren. Two brothers and 2 sisters are dead.
