Mr. Fletcher was a native of Winnfield, La and a resident of Shreveport since 1945. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and the Elks Club. He was a graduate of C. E. Byrd High School and attended College in Natchitoches, LA. Mr. Fletcher was a Navy Armament Mechanic Sr.
Mr. Fletcher was preceded in death by his former wife, Marion Fletcher and his father, E. D. Fletcher.
He is survived by his mother, Audr[e]y Fletcher; daughter, Deborah Edwards; son, James Fletcher; and five grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.

He married Marion Clair Gerkin on July 25, 1966 in Harrison County, TX. I have presumed that he is interred in the same cemetery as his parents since he was also a resident of Shreveport.
