Curgus Junior Richardson, 90, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 8:36 A.M. Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at White Oak Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

Curgus Junior Richardson was born Tuesday, April 13, 1926 in Arcola, Illinois to parents, Lycurgus and Mimmie (Gritton) Richardson. He married Betty J. Grigg on October 20, 1945 in Hernando, Missouri and she preceded him in death on December 24, 2005.

Curgus is survived by his son: Jeff Richardson and wife Donna of Ankeny, Iowa, grandson: Ryan Richardson and wife Kassi of Germany, granddaughter: Jennifer Beishir of Roanoke, Virginia, great granddaughter: Morgan Richardson of Germany, and great grandson: Jackson Richardson of Germany.

His parents, wife, daughter: Nikki J. Beishir, brothers, and one sister preceded him in death.

Curgus worked in the parts department for Ford Tractor then later as a manager in the parts department for the NAPA Store. He was a member of Word of Faith Church in Mount Vernon, Illinois.
