She was born Dec. 26, 1935, in Whitfield County, daughter of the late Charles and Arcie Mae Sneed Goforth. Her brother, H.L. Clifford, Home and Junior Goforth; sister, Essie Lou Welch also preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Eli Fields of Tennga; sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert Clinton and Rita Joyce Fields of Tennga, Everet Eli Jr. and Teresa Ann Fields of Eton, James Franklin and Sharon Diane Fields of Varnell; daughters and sons-in-law, Tiny and Mike Pullen of Dalton, Virginia and B.J. Hughes of Chatsworth, Robin Grene Berig of Crandall.

Service were on Monday from the Church of God of the Union Assembly with the Rev. Lonnie Starnes and thr Rev. Ricky Maddrum officiating.
