Mrs. Julia R. Jamison, former local resident, died suddenly of a heart attack shortly before midnight Wednesday at her home, 928 Bedford street, Dale borough, Johnstown. She resided in the Hollidaysburg district for more than thirty years and had lived in Johnstown only in recent years. The deceased was born June 7, 1866, in Centre county, a daughter of William and Mary (Ketley) Wilson. She was first married to John E. Waite, now deceased, and later she was married to Harry Newton Jamison. Her husband and four children survive as follows: Mrs. Pearl Carrier of Johnstown, Mrs. W.N. Knox of this city, William Waite of New York and David Waite of Chester county. Six step-children, sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive in addition to a brother and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Hicks and John Wilson, both of Williamsburg. The remains may be viewed at the Pine Street Church of the Brethren, Hollidaysburg, after noon hour Saturday. She was a member of the Methodist church.

JAMISON--Services for Mrs. N.W. Jamison will be held in the Pine St. Church of the Brethren, Hollidaysburg, on Saturday, July 31, 12 o'clock noon. Interment will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.
