After his discharge from the USN he worked as a carpenter and general contractor first in his fathers company Horn Construction then later he formed his own company and worked on various construction projects throughout California. His many hobbies included racing motorcycles both amateur and professionally with his brother Harvey and other friends. He raced flat track, scrambles & moto-cross and won many 1st Place Trophies including the Hi-Point Championship with the Fort Sutter MC in 1960. He also competed in billiards, bowling & building & flying radio controlled airplanes where he also won throphies and honors. He was a true competitor. Les was loved and admired by his wife of 19 years Delores, his children and many other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed and is at peace with our Lord and his parents & one son who preceded him.
