Mrs. Anna A. Seybert obituary, Democrat Messenger, Waynesburg (Greene County), Pennsylvania, 21 January, 1948

Mrs. Anna A. Seybert, 78, widow of William H. Seybert, died at 2:25 p. m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1948, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Howard Lippencott, 46 Montgomery avenue. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage suffered two days before.

A daughter of Calvin and Mary (sic) Jane Robinson Jordan, she was born Sept. 14, 1869, at Hillville and spent her early life in Armstrong County. She married William H. Seybert, well known drilling contractor who died in 1930, and for the past 50 years she had resided in Waynesburg. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waynesburg.

Surviving are two daughters: Jessie, wife of Howard Lippencott, and Edna, wife of George Inghram (sic), both of Waynesburg; four grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Charles Bowser, of Pittsburgh.

SEYBERT - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna A. Seybert, widow of William H. Seybert, of Waynesburg, who died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1948, will be held Friday, Jan. 23, at 2 p. m. at the Garrison Funeral Home, East High street, with her pastor, the Rev. David I. Rees, officiating. Burial in Oakmont Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Garrison Funeral Home after 7 p. m. today (Wednesday). J. Ross Garrison, funeral director. 1-21 22 23
