He was born in Springfield and married Anna Coats in 1906. She preceded him in death in 1960 [sic].
A daughter, Nina, died in 1925.
He retired in 1956 from Burton M. Reid & Sons Jewelers.
Surviving are a son, Richard R. of Springfield; five daughters, Mrs. Eunice Mason, Mrs. Bernice Power, Mrs. Florence Hashman and Mrs. Leona Bradbury of Buffalo; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Private services were in Bisch Memorial Home.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
