Death of Franklin Banning---
Franklin Banning, another old settler of Hardin County, has been called from labor to his ____. He quietly passed away on the 11st inst., after a lengthy illness of typhoid fever, leaving a mourning wife, two little children and a large concourse of relatives and friends to silently sorrow over his early departure. Mr. Banning was about 47 years of age and had lived in Hardin county since a boy of seven. He was the last son left on the old homestead in Dudley township. He was one of the most sturdy and enterprising farmers in the county, generous and accommodating in all his dealings, and just that class of man, so much needed in every community and his death will create a void. In his large circle of friends and acquaintances not easily filled.
