George P. Outler, 55, of Lakewood, CA., died Saturday, December 23, 2006 when he lost his courageous battle with cancer at home with his family.

George accomplished many things in life including a degree in Aviation, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, a pilot's license, and most recently obtained his teaching credential. He also enjoyed playing the electric guitar and wrote several songs with lyrics that captured the essence of the rock and roll genre while expressing his unique insight to life.

He had a passion for life and lived it to the fullest, which was evidenced by his forward-looking ideas, never ending enthusiasm, and dedication to family and friends.

In addition to his wife, George is survived by nume rous relatives and friends; two brothers, Norman Outler of Nevada and Arthur Outler of Oregon; one sister, Veda Kuban of California; two nephews, Specialist Adam Outler of South Carolina and Neil Outler of Montana; three cousins, Cyndi, Kim and Jeff Bernia all of Michigan, and a best friend, Jeff Foresta of California.
