Funeral services for Lucy Eva Dean Miles Bussabarger, 73, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, with burial in the Blue River Chapel Cemetery near Corydon. She died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at Mercy Anderson Hospital in Cincinnati.
A native of Day, Ky., she was born June 7, 1933, to the late Coy and Minta Boggs York.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Everett Miles and John Bussabarger.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherri Everett of Cincinnati; three step daughters, Becky Faith and Alice Weaver, both of Corydon and Trudy Dudgeon of Mint Hill, N.C.; four brothers, Everett, Pat and James York, all of Charlestown and Carlos York of Henryville; three sisters, Phyllis Antz of Charlestown, Yvonne Campbell of Jeffersonville and Sheila Dean of New Albany; seven grandchildren, Angela Morgan, Jamie Schutte, Dennis and Matt Faith, Frankie Bill and Alex and Jack Dudgeon; one great-grandchild, Jonathan Miles Schutte; and 20 nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29 and after 10 a.m. Saturday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
