Mrs. Katheryn Stokes Blaney Laube, 72, died Saturday, October 29, 2016, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. A celebration of Mrs. Laube’s life will be private.

Born in Chester, SC on February 8, 1944, she was a daughter of the late John Sidney Blaney and Willie Mae Stokes Blaney. Mrs. Laube was a retired nurse.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Blaney Tassone of Winslow, AZ, Ann Blaney Bell of Manteo, NC, and Sarah Blaney Collins (David) of Chester, SC; her nieces and nephews, John Sidney Jacobs (Jeannie) of Winslow, AZ, Marjorie Collidge (David) of Winslow, AZ, Allyson Bell Bristow (Glenn) of Nolensville, TN, Greg Bell (Katie) of Manteo, NC, Dr. Michelle Collins Munnell (BAK) of Rock Hill, SC, Sean Collins (Paige Baker) of De Pere, WI, and Dr. Chris Collins (Christie) of Bismarck, ND; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. Mrs. Laube was preceded in death by her husband, Charles August Laube, II; a brother, John Sidney Blaney, Jr.; and a nephew, Eric A. Jacobs, II. Barron Funeral Home Chester, S.C.
