James Henry Langford Jr., age 91, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016.

He was born December 24, 1924 in Flint, Michigan to James Henry and Alta (Shumaker) Langford.

James had a degree in Industrial Engineering.

He worked for General Motors in the Buick division in Flint, Michigan, and also Dayton Malleable in Ironton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 69 years, Marie Lily (Culwell) Langford; one son, James Langford; two brothers, Leo Lawrence Langford, and Robert Langford; one sister, Mary Sloan; and one grandchild, Bekka Langford.

Survivors include one son, Charles Scott (and wife, Kim) of Mississippi; two daughters, Susan Hunter of West Virginia; and Patricia Langford of Springdale; three grandchildren, Matthew Langford, Michael Goldcamp, and Maria Hodges; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church of Springdale with Rev. Judy Van Hoose officiating.
