Met her husband Frank in 1936 as she was riding the school bus he was driving. They married June 24 1939 Buncombe Co., NC and were together 58 years until Frank's death.
Lived in the tradition rich North Fork Community for over 55 years. She was related to most everyone living in the shadow of old Walkertown and the Asheville Watershed area.
Retired baker at Black Mountain Primary School. Also worked at Kearfott and Swannanoa 4-H Camp in the summers
Homemaker deluxe living in the same home on the righ-fork of North Fork Road that Frank had helped build his parents in the 1930's.
