Dies at Lancaster.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 o'clock for the late William F. Hartman, 83, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert B. Clepper, 939 Maple Ave, Lancaster from the late home. Further services will be at 10:30 o'clock from Covenant U.B. Church, Lancaster.
Mr Clepper (note should state Hartman) was born in Columbia, a son of the late John and Elizabeth Hartman and succumbed to heart trouble acording to Dr. A. V. Walter, deputy coroner. He was a member of the Covenant U.B. Church, Lancaster and was a painter by ocupation.
He is survived by the following children: Walter E. of Enhaut; Arthur W. of Harrisburg; Elizabeth wife of Albert B. Clepper, of Lancaster; Edith, wife of Walter Rineer, of Columbia; William F. Jr. of Columbia; Marguerite, wife of Benjamin F. Kotchin, of Detroit; Cyrus (note should read Silas)of Columbia; and Clara, wife of Robert Stultz, of Palmyra; also the following stepsons: Frank Haug, of Mt. Joy; Paul Haug of Columbia; and John Haug (note was Synder adopted by Julius Haug) of Hempfield; two brothers, John and Charles Hartman both of Columbia, twenty-one grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
