KELTS Staci E. Kelts, 41 of Columbus, Oh., lost her battle with cancer at 1 p.m. on June 18, 2009. Staci passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and dogs. Staci was born August 15, 1967 to Gail and Bruce Kelts of Ocala, Fla. Staci graduated from Greenhills High School in Greenhills, Ohio. and Ohio University. Staci was employed at The Ohio State University with the Center for Learning Excellence. Staci, an exceptional vocalist, entertained on the stages of several central Ohio Community Theaters, calling the stage at Little Theatre Off Broadway in Grove City her Theater home. Staci is survived by her partner, Dan Stanton; her parents; her sister, Sherry (John) Popp of Proctorville, Oh.; her brother, Steve (Connie) Kelts of Batesville, Ind.; several nieces and nephews; her loving friends and her three Chihuahuas, Chalupa, Bambi and Dumplin'. Staci will be memorialized in a service at King Avenue United Methodist Church on June 27th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthur James Cancer Hospital or the Zusman Community Hospice.
