Marty is also survived by three sons: James (Brandy) Combs of Continental, Christopher (Amber) Combs of Hicksville, Delton (Lauren) Combs of Continental; a daughter: Holly (Schulze) Combs of Wapakoneta; nine grandchildren: Brianne Ballenger, Katelyn, Greyson, Jacob, Ahna, Wyatt, Lillian, Langstyn, and Finn Combs; one brother: Matt (Heather) Combs of N. Fort Myers, FL; two sisters: Norrine (Greg) Logan of Olive Hill, KY and Noline Combs of Melrose; in-laws: Dale and Edna May Spitnale; and two sister-in-laws: April (Mark) Ferland of Liberty Township, and Lisa Rue of Oakwood.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Nadine Combs.
Marty attended Twin Oaks United Methodist Church, Oakwood. He was a 1981 graduate of Continental High School and attended Northwestern Business College in Lima. He was employed for 23 years at Pro-Tec Coating Co. in Leipsic and also worked 8 years at Edgerton Forge.
A Christian Burial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Brady Feltz officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and an hour prior to service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
