A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Lincoln Memorial Park for Vinnie I. Ritter who died March 30 in a Portland convalescent center of causes related to age. She was 97.
Mrs. Ritter was born Dec. 21, 1896, in Pendleton and had lived in Portland since 1960. She married William Ritter in 1912. He died in 1965.
Surviving are daughters, Viola Rogers and Doris Barnes, both of Portland, and Willma J. Mackie of Paradise, Calif.; son, Wade of Millington, Tenn.; brother, Shirley Hevel of Pendleton; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to a charity of choice.
