Charles was a peacetime veteran of the navy. He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly in Wellsburg, WV. He did construction work early on out of local #809 in Steubenville, OH and retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Washington, PA.
Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Nancy J. (Adams) Ambrose at home. Arrangements were handled by Chambers Funeral Home 1030 Main St. Wellsburg, WV where services were held on Saturday, December 30th at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. James Buchanan officiating. Interment followed in Kadesh Chapel Cemetery. Full Military honors by Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad was provided.
