OBITUARY
Charles N. Brown Jr., 58, of 5 Uncas Road, Harbor View, Clinton, died Wednesday at Shoreline Clinic in Essex. He was the husband of Dorothy (Hoyt) Brown.

He was born in Essex, May 27, 1921, son of the late Charles N. Brown Sr. and Josephine (Buell) Brown, and lived in Clinton for the past 30 years. For the past six years he was employed by M&L Products in Killingworth. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Westbrook.

Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Charles N. Brown III of Westbrook and Stephen A. Brown of Clinton; two daughters, Miss Sheila Brown and Miss Fay Brown, both of Clinton; five brothers, William of Santa Maria, California, Fred of Clinton, Frank of Hartford, David of Essex, and Kenneth of Greenbelt, Maryland; ten sisters, Miss Josephine Brown of East Haven, Mrs. Betty Blum of Southington, Mrs. Sandra McDaniel of West Haven, Mrs. Myrtle Brown and Miss Barbara Brown, both of Hartford, Mrs. Margaret Herdman of Killingworth, Mrs. Lillian Hucul of New Haven, Mrs. Clarice Janoschak of Chester, Mrs. Corrine Agostinelli of Westbrook, and Mrs. Emma Ennis of Clinton; also four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main Street, Clinton, with the Rev. Vincent Watson, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. (THE NEW HAVEN REGISTER JANUARY 2, 1980)
