Battershell, nee Gaynor, age 76, late of Oak Lawn, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, devoted wife of the late Byron; cherished mother of Virginia (Robert) Rea and Margaret Hauser; dear sister of Marian (late George) Costello; proud grandmother of Kerry (Michael) Turgeon and Kelly Rea; fond aunt of Nancy, Michael, Joan and Mary Fran. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999 at 10 a.m. from Edgar Funeral Home, 10900 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Lawn, to St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m.
