Alice Evelyn Blanchard, 96, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Brownsville, Texas.
Alice was born on November 17, 1919 to her parents William James Welch and Marjory Augusta Gavigan in Waukegan, Illinois.
Preceded in her death are her parents, her husband Lee Blanchard and two daughters, Carol Flores and Marjory Blanchard.
She is survived by her loving family; her daughter Janet Blanchard; her son-in-law Ciro Flores; her grandchildren, Michael Blanchard and his wife Lily, Colleen Blanchard, Daniel Flores, Sean Flores and his wife Fatima, Lee Flores and his wife Karen; her great-grandchildren Karlee Flores, Tristan Flores, Michael Jacob Blanchard and Natalie Blanchard and other extended family members. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 in the South Chapel of Trevino Funeral Home with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled 10 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. Luke Catholic Church.
Burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
