'Jack' Billingsley

FAIRBURY - The funeral of Floyd C. "Jack" Billingsley, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, the Rev. Art Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the memorial home.
Mr. Billingsley died at 6:25 p.m. Saturfay Feb. 7, 1987 at Saint James Hospital, Pontiac.
He was born Aug. 22, 1898, in Glasgow, Ky., a son of William T. and Rhoda Chapman Billingsley. He married Eunice Simmons on Jan. 2, 1926. She died Jan. 27, 1987.
Survivors include three sisters, Mildred Zimmerman, Fairbury; Muriel Wilson, R.R.1, Chenoa; and Delsie Sherfey, Roberts.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
He was a former member of the Fairbury American Legion Post and was a veteran of World War I.
he lived his entire adult life in the Fairbury area.
He was a heavy road equipment operator for the Livingston County Highway Department for a number of years.
