Lelah Wallace
Lelah Mae Wallace, 87, a longtime resident of Cincinnati, Iowa, passed away September 18, 1980 at the Golden Age Manor in Centerville.

She was born February 5, 1893 on a farm north of Moulton, Iowa. She was the daughter of Jasper N. and Corintha C. Taylor Hornaday.

She was married December 14, 1910 in Albia, Iowa to Earl Wallace, who preceded her in death in 1957.

Survivors include one son, Gerald W. Wallace of Cincinnati, Iowa. One sister, Hazell Garrett of Bloomfield, Iowa. One brother, Floyd Hornaday of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

She was a member of the Fairview Church of the Brethren of Unionville, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 21, at 1:30 p.m. at the Duley Funeral Home in Centerville with the Rev. Jerry Weller officiating.

Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Duley Funeral Home.

A memorial may be given to the Golden Age Manor for an oxygen maker.
