In 1875, she married her first husband, Theophilus Pawlowski (born 1852), in Cekcyn, Poland. Eight children were born to Julianna and Theophilus from 1878 to 1890. In 1899, Julianna married her second husband Franz Karnowski in Raciaz, Tuchola, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Poland and had one child, a daughter, Franciszka Karnowski in 1900.
In 1906, Julianna immigrated to the USA with Franciszka. They were on their way to her oldest son, John Pawlowski, in Chicago.
Between 1911 and 1919, Julianna met and married her third husband, Andrew Romanowski (born 1862), who was widowed in December 1910.
Julianna is buried in the same plot as her son, Valentine Pawlowski Jr., his daughter Sally and Sally's husband Earl Conrad.
