After serving in the National Guard from 1938 to 1939, Henry joined the U.S. Army in 1943 and served his country until 1945. Henry worked at Arrowhead Conveyer where he was a superintendent. Henry was a member at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, where he participated in the men’s club, choir, council and Sunday school. He was the secretary and treasurer for the A.A.L Branch 2242.
Henry was survived by his two daughters, 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister.
Henry was preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret and Gertrude; brothers, Martin, Arthur, Albert and Clarence. Half brothers, Waldemer and DuWayne.
