Robert L. Butler, Jr., 79, of Westport died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at home. He was the devoted husband of the late Leona M. (Maher) Butler.
He was born in Fort Worth, Texas, son of the late Robert L. Butler, Sr. & the late Edna A. (Johns) Butler, and had resided in Westport for the last 55 years. He was a veteran of WWII, serving his country in the Navy. Mr. Butler worked as a bookkeeper for Building Materials, Inc. in Fall River for 40 years until his retirement.
He is survived by a son: Robert W. Butler of N. Dartmouth; a daughter: Linda M. Butler of Fall River; 2 sisters: Martha Lee of MO and Edna Mae Binford of NC;
Funeral will be Saturday, October 1, 2005
Interment: Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
