Lois was born November 19, 1919 in Wortham Bend to Robert and Mary (Killion) Slough. She was a Regular Pioneer of the Jehovah’s Witness faith. An avid gardener she also enjoyed raising her cows, chickens and turkeys. But most of all she loved her family. She had great joy in raising her children and many of her grand children, enjoying family get togethers with food and chocolate pie and camping with them in her travel trailer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Woodrow T. Ballew; infant daughter, Glynda Fay; six sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include her children, grand children, 26 great-grand children and 10 great-great-grand children; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
