Services for Mrs. Nellie M. Hester, 95, of Kanawha and formerly of Des Moines, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Arnold's Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Van Meter Cemetery in Van Meter.
Mrs. Hester died of a stroke Tuesday at the Kanawha Community Home.
Mrs. Hester was born in Marengo and lived in Des Moines 61 years before moving to Kanawha four years ago. She was a member of the Capitol City Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Durward of Mount Ida, Ark.
