SOUTH HUTCHINSON – Douglas James Pitzer, 60, passed away Nov. 6, 2016, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. A native of Hutchinson, he was born Jan. 8, 1956, the son of Clarence and Carol Pitzer.
He was a retired machinist from Consolidated Industries, and recently was a team member of PRA.
He married his wife Debra, in Hutchinson, at Bethany Nazarene Church on Feb. 4, 1983. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Justin (Denise); two daughters, Stephanie (Tory), Amy; 1 brother, Rick (Kim); a sister, Kay (John) Hermes; a grandson, Braxton. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a granddaughter, Madyson.
Service of Remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, with Darrell Bisel presiding.
