HOLYOKE - Sister Rose Aloysia, 99; of the Sisters of St. Joseph. teacher 40 years in schools in the Springfield Diocese, and Western and Central Massachusetts. and Rhode Island, died Saturday in the Sisters of St. Joseph Infirmary, Mont Marie.
In secular life she was Agnes Faulkner.
A native of Taunton, she was in her 79th year of religious life.
She graduated from Our Lady of the Elms College, Chicopee and entered the order in 1901. She was assigned to Cathedral and Holy Family parish. Springfield. St. Joseph's of Newport. R. l. and North Adams, St. Anne's, St. Peter's and Stephen', all Worcester, Sacred Heart of Holyoke and Pawtucket, R.I., Immaculate Conception of West Springfield, Holy Trinity of Greenfield and St. Rose de Lima of Warwick. R. I. and retired in 1969.
The funeral will be Monday night in the chapel of the motherhouse with burial in the Sisters of St. Joseph Cemetery, both Mont Marie. T.P. Sampson Co. is in charge, Donations may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph.
