Mr. James Franklin Dooley, age 53, of Goochland Rd., Mt. Vernon, Ky. passed away, Friday, December 29, 2006 at his residence.
He was born on November 16, 1953, in the Three Links Section of Rockcastle Co., a son of the late George Albert and Jerline French Dooley. He was a member of the Three Links Christian Church, Union Carpenter #1562 and a Kentucky Colonel. He had been a farmer, a logger and a carpenter. His hobbies and interest include farming, fishing and restoring antique cars.
Those left to mourn his passing include his three children-Cristopher James Dooley of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Kimberly Ann Deaton of Brodhead, Ky; and Benjamin Albert Kirby of Richmond, Ky.; two grandchildren-
Cynthia Loraine Deaton and James Dylan Dooley. Three brothers-George Albert Dooley and wife Barbara of Mt. Vernon, Ky; Travis Earl Dooley of Somerset, Ky; John Lee Dooley of Brodhead, Ky; Five sisters- Lucille McHargue and husband Howard of Pine Hill, Ky; Carol Bryant of Brodhead, Ky; Florence Dooley of Brodhead, Ky; Dicie Mullins of Mt. Vernon, Ky; and Ruby Beam and husband Carver of Kewanee, Illinois; special girlfriend Jean Newcomb, as well as a host of nieces/nephews, friends and neighbors.
Visitation for Mr. James Franklin Dooley will be- Monday, Jan 1st, 2007from 6-9PM at Three Links Christian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, 2007at 2PM at Three Links Christian Church
with Bro. Jack Martin officiating; burial will follow in the Phillips Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Stevie Pittman, Kenneth Miller, George Dooley, Howard McHargue, Chris Dooley and Johnny Dooley. Honorary bearers will be Ben Kirby, Gary Miracle, Scotty Anglin, Freddie Hampton, Ernie Smith and David Anglin.
