Obituary from The Monitor Review, June 24, 1971:

Ernest Seymour Anderson was born May 2, 1899 to Peter A. and Mattie Olson Anderson in Marshall Township. He was baptized and confirmed in Little Cedar Lutheran Church.

He attended rural school across the road from his farm home and Adams High School. In 1919 he graduated from the Hanson Auto and Tractor School at Fargo, North Dakota.

December 26, 1929 he was united in marriage to Coramae Anderson. For several years they resided in Madison, South Dakota where he was employed at the Dolly Madison Dairy. Later they moved to LaCross, Wisconsin where he was employed at the Tri State Dairy. Ernest became a bulk oil trucker in 1943 for the Mower County Co-op at Adams, Minnesota, and continued in this business until he retired in 1967 due to ill health.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Leonard and Arthur. He is survived by his wife, Coramae; son, Elnathan of Galesburg, Illinois; daughter, Mrs. Calvin (Constance) Drake of Rosemount, Minnesota; grandsons, Nathan, Timothy and David Anderson and Colin Drake; granddaughter Cassia Drake; his mother; sister, Mrs. H.A. (Jessie) Johnson, of Webster, South Dakota; three brothers, Oscar and Edward of Adams, Merrill of Minneapolis and a host of relatives and friends.

Ernest was a lifelong member of Little Cedar Lutheran Church where he will be sadly missed. He was also a member of Eureka Lodge #75, Royal Arch #14, Knight Templer, Osman Temple, St. Paul and the Eastern Star.

Funeral services were conducted June 8, 1971 at Little Cedar Lutheran Church, Adams, Minnesota, Pastor Wayne Quibell officiating.

Ernest was a lover of children and a friend to all. Blessed by his memory.
