OBITUARY: Headline: Louis F. Gleason Found Dead at Home

Louis F. Gleason. 50, of 46 Benefit street, assistant scale inspector at the Boston and Albany railroad for 25 years was found dead yesterday morning in the cellar of his home. Dr. John C. Ward, medical examiner, said the cause of death is under investigation. Mr. Gleason was born in Worcester, son of the late John W. and Catherine (Lucey) Gleason, and was graduated from Classical High School and in 1921 from Holy Cross College. In 1935, he ran for the Democratic school committee nomination in Ward 8.
Mr. Gleason was secretary-treasurer of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees. Surviving are a brother, Thomas F. Gleason of New York city; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes C. Cunningham of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mary V., wife of George E. Smith and Miss Grace C. Gleason, both of Worcester, and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at John J. Fay Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
