Mr. Mobley was a World War II Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific. He was a mechanic by trade. He was an Ordained Deacon at Oak Grove Baptist Church, a Mason and a Charter Member of the Carley Lodge. He was also a Charter Member of the Magnolia Bluegrass Association.
He was preceded in death by wife, Eva Ray Carter Mobley; his parents, Vernon Franklin and Ida Daughdrill Mobley; one brother, John Houston Mobley, and two sisters Lena Stuckey and Dorothy King.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Stogner Mobley; two daughters, Bonnie Ladner, (Wendell) of Starkville and Brenda Pickering (Larry) of Wiggins; two step-daughters, Synthia O’Quinn (Ronnie) of Cisco TX and Sandra O’Quinn of Foxworth; one step son, Steve Stogner (Wanda) of Cisco; Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
