Ruth Lucretia Thompson, 82 of La Plata, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 1989 at the Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.
Born May 11, 1906 in Gibbs, she was the daughter of William and Ella (Garlock) Keller. On Nov. 14, 1925 in La Plata, she was married to Emery L. Thompson, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Donald E. Thompson of La Plata; five grandchildren and eight great-grand children. She was a member of the La Plata Communtiy Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 22, 1989, at the Travis Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery.
