Our beloved Annie Rose King was born December 7, 1934 in Macon, Mississippi to Robert King and Iola (Little) King. She departed this life on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at the age of 81 years.

Mrs. King was a life-long resident of Chicago, Illinois before relocating to Saginaw, Michigan on May 27, 2015. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age at the Springfield Baptist Church in Macon MS. She loved to fish, sew and cook.

To cherish many memories she leaves two children, Betty Daniel of Saginaw, MI and Billy Laury of Elgin, IL; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one niece, Velma King; many other relatives and friends, including special friends, Rosa Woodhouse and the Rhoden family.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Iola King; two daughters; one son; one sister and one brother.

The family would like to express special thanks to: Betty Holmes and the staff at Heavenly Realm, 1810 N. Carolina Street.

Family hour will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue with the funeral service commencing at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Johnie Edwards will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
