Mrs. Nellie Worley, widow of Maurice S. Worley, 69, a resident of a mile east of Trenton on R. R. 1, Dunkirk, died at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday at the Blackford County hospital where she underwent surgery two weeks ago. She was previously hospitalized for a period of time last May.
Mrs. Worley was a native of Blackford county and was a member of the Bethel EUB Church, north of Dunkirk.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond Evans of Dunkirk, and Mrs. Earl McGuire of R. R. 1, Dunkirk; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Slater of Hartford City, and Mrs. Edna Olmstead of St. Petersburg, Fla. One son, Victor is deceased.
Born on December 17, 1895, Mrs. Worley was a daughter of Marion and Florence (Barr) Bartlett. She was united in marriage to Mr. Worley on March 28, 1914 in this city. He died December 17, 1958.
