Sarah Jane Rhodes, wife of Samuel Rhodes, died yesterday afternoon at 1:55 o'clock at her home on the Mattern Farm, Blair township, of consumption. Deceased was born on October 26, 1843. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Emanuel, of Altoona; Mrs. Annie Moore, of Altoona; Emma, Robert, Bertha and Frank at home. The funeral services will be held at the late home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in the Lutheran cemetery at Newry.
