Beverly T. Hardy, 67, of 29 Oak Street and Lower Landing Road, Wells, died Sunday at Maine Medical Center, Portland.

She was born here on September 7, 1920, a daughter of Harry M. and Ethel T. Turner. She graduated from Sanford High School in 1938.

In 1941, she married Llewellyn Hardy, who died in 1986.

She lived in Alfred for 20 years before returning here. For the past six years, she had maintained a home in Wells.

Mrs. Hardy was a housekeeper and laundress at Maine Stay Nursing Home and Sanford Health Care Facility for 15 years.

She was a member of Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church.

Surviving are her mother of Sanford; two sons, Harry L. Hardy of Cape Elizabeth and David T. Hardy of Wells; four daughters, Jacqueline Muller of Mexico City, Jerine Hamm of Jacksonville, FL, Patrice Goodwin of Gibson, PA and Lorinda Hurt of Germany; two sisters, Phyllis Fall of Arlington, VA and Shirley Turner of Springvale, and eight grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church. The Rev. Kenneth D. Keating will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Calling hours are Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 at the Heald Funeral Home, 61 Main Street.
