Widow of Late Colebrook River Resident Passes in Stamford.
Mrs. Nellie E. Humphrey, late of Colebrook River, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Obman of Stamford. She was the widow of Calvin B. Humphrey. Born in Sandisfield, MA, on October 1, 1861, a daughter of Folden and Almira (Ball) Stumpf. She resided in Colebrook River for many years and her husband was a proprietor of a country store here. Surviving beside her daughter, are a son Frank S. Humphrey of Glens Falls, NY, and two brothers, Frederick Stumpf of Naugatuck, CT and Albert J. Stumpf of East Norwalk, CT. Interment will be in the family plot at Forest View Cemetery.
