Westley Ray Alarcon, 28, of Amarillo died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Southwest Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Westley was born Aug. 5, 1978, in Amarillo, and was raised here. He was a 1996 graduate of Amarillo High School. While in High School, he sang in the Bel Conto Choir. Music was a very big part of his life. He had also lived in California, Clayton, N.M., Clovis, N.M., and Dumas. He married Bambi Cox on July 30, 2004, in Amarillo. He was a commercial and residential painter. He worked with Steve Kirkpatrick and also owned and operated A&R Painting in Amarillo. He was very skilled and talented in his craft.

Westley loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and hunting and will be deeply missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lloyd Lane and Orlando Alarcon; and an uncle, Joe Lane.

Survivors include his wife, Bambi; two sons, Tristen Stambaugh and Kalan Cox, both of Amarillo; two daughters, Allyah Ramos and Karma Cox, both of Amarillo; his parents, Patricia Vincent of Amarillo and Kevin Alarcon of Dumas; three brothers, Donny Vincent of Amarillo, Ryan Alarcon of Dumas and Jeremy Fry of Sunray; two sisters, Ronda McNeill of Amarillo and Barbara Day of Pampa; his grandmothers, Dora Lane of Amarillo and Mary Alarcon of Tucumcari, N.M.; and many aunts, uncles and extended family who loved him very much.

The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.

The family will be at 3504 Westlawn Ave.
